History

The journey began in 2018, when three entrepreneurs came together with a shared passion for fashion and a mission to create high-quality eastern wear blending contemporary style with the rich legacy of culture and heritage. Officially founded in 2019 in Gujranwala, Naqshi began with production rooted in traditional embroidery techniques and responsible artisan practices, while its designs were first introduced through a small retail rack at Giga Mall in Islamabad. What started as a modest initiative soon evolved into a brand admired for refined silhouettes, intricate embroidery, and respect for cultural techniques. The name Naqshi is inspired by a delicate material used in old-style frame embellishments, symbolizing the precision and creativity that define the brand. From the outset, the founders aimed to shorten the traditional waiting period associated with luxury outfits by introducing ready-to-wear designs crafted with the same level of detail and sustainable originality. Within a year, Naqshi opened its first official store at Giga Mall, marking the beginning of a steady expansion. Today, the brand operates 11 retail stores across Pakistan in cities including Lahore, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Gujrat, alongside its international e-commerce platform www.naqshiofficial.com, launched in 2021. Through hand-crafted embellishments and cultural heritage embroidery, Naqshi Respects the expertise of Pakistani fashion while encouraging a more sustainable approach to luxury clothing by valuing skilled artisans and timeless design. As the brand continues to grow, Naqshi is expanding its reach to customers across Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, United States, Canada, and the Middle East, introducing global audiences to the beauty of Pakistani workmanship.
